We do this by ensuring that the sector has the skills and talent needed to deliver modern public services but also ensuring the right level of resource is deployed nationally to address workforce issues facing people locally. We are currently ensuring this by:
Working with the social work taskforce to ensure there is a sustainable social worker workforce in the future
Working with workforce suppliers and recruiters to deliver a motivated and productive workforce
Influencing the national employers to ensure local flexibility and discretion on workforce matters
Delivering the production of effective workforce data to encourage continued investment in effective workers planning and skills development
Business Workforce Dialogue Tool

The framework is part of a range of outputs from the PPMA working group which is examining the public service workforce of the future.
